Back to card making

(I did not realize it had been so long since I posted here. I have had two successful cataract surgeries and look forward to June when I hope to be finished with doctor checkups for them. It is amazing to see when I am lying in bed in the morning.)

I have also been able to get back making cards - I managed to make one for Mother's Day, a birthday card, and one more for the Jingle Belles challenge, shown here.
We were to follow a sketch and use "bling" - I put Stickles (glitter glue) on the white snowflakes around the  text, although it does not show in the picture.

  1. Happy to see you back creating again ... Stickles are so great for a little sparkle ... so very glad you joined us at Jingle Belles.

  2. Irene, your Christmas card is so pretty. Love all the greens you added around your sentiment. Thanks for playing with us at 'Tis the Season.

  3. Lovely card! Love the pops of color against the green. Stickles are a great way to add bling!

Thanks so much for playing along with us at 'Tis The Season and our friends at Jingle Belles!

  4. What a fun idea to create your own wreath.. This came out great. Thanks for joining us at 'Tis the Season.

  5. what a beautiful card, i especially love the way you've surrounded the sentiment panel with those delicate branches! terrific job on both the sketch and the bling, too!! thanks for playing with JINGLE BELLES and TTS!

ps: congrats on your surgeries, i'm glad they went well and you are back to making cards again! ♥♥♥

  6. Nice take on the sketch! I like how the ribbon matches the pops of color in the wreath!
